微软的新博客更新了Windows 11支持的CPU列表，本次更新加入了多款7代酷睿，但并不是大多数PC玩家购买的主流CPU，而是大多数针对工作站的至强系列。
微软解释说，在与 AMD 合作并仔细分析了 AMD 的第一代 Zen 处理器后，双方一致认为目前尚Windows 11不支持该系列CPU。
新增的产品包括Intel Core i7-7820HQ，Intel Core i5-7640X，Intel Core i7-7740X，Intel Core i7-7800X，Intel Core i7-7820HQ，Intel Core i7-7820X，Intel Core i7-7900X，Intel Core i7-7920X，Intel Core i9-7940X，Intel Core i9-7960X以及Intel Core i9-7980XE。
